Groundbreaking Clinical Research from APA Founding Member VetBioLogix

APA Founding Member VetBioLogix has released an important new clinical safety study evaluating injectable BPC-157 and TB-500 in adult horses—marking one of the first published investigations into the safety of these peptides in an equine model. The 40-day study followed 11 horses receiving daily peptide therapy and found no adverse events, no injection site reactions, and no clinically significant abnormalities throughout treatment or during a 30-day follow-up period. While additional efficacy research is still needed, the findings establish an encouraging safety foundation for future regenerative medicine applications in veterinary medicine.

This milestone is especially meaningful for the American Peptide Association, as Dr. Charley McColough, lead investigator and founder of VetBioLogix, serves on APA's Clinical Research Committee for Animal Use, helping advance evidence-based research and responsible peptide science across the industry.
